Sustainable for long term weight management
What we put into our bodies fulfills more than just nutritional needs. Though that is the focus, we also need to enjoy how we eat and understand our relationship with food.
Simple fitness programs that fit into all lifestyles
Because this program is appropriate for people with physical limitations or sedentary lifestyles, the base-level program suits all fitness levels.
Improved wellbeing
Wellbeing is improved by two processes, improved diet and physical fitness, and improved understanding of your mind and it's role in weight maintenance.
Losing weight is all pretty simple isn't it?
then why is it so hard?
Let's figure that out together
You've been told it's as simple as diet and exercise, but you've tried and for some frustrating reason it didn't work. Why you? You're not alone and often it is as simple as getting the right information. And, when that isn't enough then we need to manage your mindset and discover what your hurdles are.
Wellness is a journey and so much more complicated than just eat the right food and exercise. Those words are the simple part but many of us need to address our fundamental psychological barriers first. That is where we begin.
It's about gaining INSIGHT. Insight for why you are where you are today , insight about the cause of your challenges, and insight to how to proceed to succeed.
Understanding and working with your body
We get mad at our bodies; we get mad at ourselves, we get mad at our minds, but what if instead of sitting in a guilt soup of struggle and shame, we learnt to understand ourselves and change the way we talk about ourselves and our bodies?
Our bodies are truly a wonder. When we understand them we give them the love, and respect they need and deserve... and by extension we give ourselves the love and respect we deserve.
Meg Claridge
Instructor
I'm Meg and I am the creator of Jinjerli.
For many years I struggled with my own weight and health issues. That was until I had a break through. My specific break through is important to me and your break through will be important to you succeeding. Due to my discoveries I have reached my goal weight and am maintaining, while achieving health and vitality I haven’t experienced since i was in my teens.
Along my journey I realised that I wanted to help others succeed. Weight issues can have a huge impact on our quality of life and if I could help people feel the way I do now, what a fantastic thing to do. Having a strong base of nutrition and fitness knowledge was important but I knew that without a focus on the mind, success would be far from assured. Knowing that I had to change my own mind to succeed, the logical next step was to study counselling so that I could appropriately support my client’s plans for change. Through my graduate degree I have been able to evaluate my own success through the lens of psychology, which has further informed my program.
This program will help you discover why you didn’t succeed in the past, what is holding you back now and how you can enjoy change.
When you change, you change those around you, and you break the cycle.
